Christchurch Carpets was establish in 1947 and has been providing the good people of Christchurch and the greater Dorset area with fine floor coverings. Ranging from bespoke Persian rugs to fitting carpets and alternative floor surfaces.
Christchurch Carpets has built a reputation for a personal, friendly and above all, professional service and with this brand new internet project, it was this reputation, longevity and quality of service, that was to be the key message.

The main focus was information. To inform the visitor of service and location and inspire them to the call to action, ie to telephone or email for a personal visit and consultation from one of the staff.

At the time of writing this post, a full eCommerce website is also being planned. This will allow Christchurch Carpets to spread their net nationally.
This project has 4 variations: Desktop and Laptop, full screen creative sites and an adaptive version for Tablets and Smart phones. Accessed by an automatic redirect, depending on which device the visitor is using. This allowing the Christchurch Carpets visitor to enjoy their experience, weather they be at their desks, watching TV or out-and-about.
Other details and features include: A iPhone home screen icon, for esayer access from mobile devices. Browser face, favourite icon or favicon.
To make the website easy to recognise and find, once it has been saved to favourites. Telephone auto call hyper links for mobile devices, so a number can be clicked and called very easily from a smart phone. There are also location address hyper links, so location maps can be easily accessed. For the Safari browser, there is a web reader facility, enabling the visitor to view the site text, in a more concise format with the added benefit of text enlargement.
